The DN Transport Team benefit from department restructuring...

The Transport Department here at Dugdale Nutrition has been restructured and given a fresh outlook for 2019. We still have the same great team taking care of bulk deliveries, but the senior members in this department are now embracing more niche roles, drawing on their years of experience and giving the drivers the benefit of more direction and focus within the overall team.

Dan Brown

Transport Manager

Dan will be concentrating on the day to day running of the transport department at DN Clitheroe. He will be liaising with the Sales Support Team, drivers & contractors and planning for both DN Speke and DN Clitheroe.

He will also be looking at any day to day issues with deliveries drivers may have, as well as dealing with drivers holiday requests, absence, return to work and any disciplinary issues.

Peter Williams

Transport Compliance & Training Manager

Peter will now be dealing with all compliance issues for DN Clitheroe and DN Speke. He will be working on new systems and processes, developing Sharepoint and PowerBI alongside our IT Manager, Matthew Collinge.

Drivers will be directed to Peter for any issues with driving regulations, infringements, CPC Training and General Training.

Steve Pinder

Fleet Manager

Steve’s responsibilities will stay as they are, looking after the whole of the DN fleet of motor vehicles, trucks, fork lifts and other warehouse equipment. He will liaise with other contractors for servicing, buying and rentals.

Steve will also maintain the database for all of the servicing and costs against this side of transport, ensuring that budgets are met without quality being lost. Steve will also ensure all vehicles are kept clean and well presented at all times.

Drivers will be directed to Steve for all issues with any of the trucks they drive.
