We have some important information to share with you regarding our scheduled maintenance at our Clitheroe Mill...
A message from our Managing Director
Dear Customer,
I am writing to inform you that compound feed manufacture at our Clitheroe Mill will be shut down from Monday 16th October to Monday 23rd October 2023. This is to allow the installation of a new grinder system, a new molasses tank and several other essential maintenance projects. The new grinder should be a significant move forward for our product quality and reliability. This combination of projects represents a substantial capital spend and illustrates our commitment to the sector.
During the shutdown at Clitheroe we will be manufacturing at full capacity at the Speke mill and blend production will continue to be unaffected. The Clitheroe customer collections warehouse will be open as normal. We have already started the process of stockpiling our biggest selling products and this process will continue until the shutdown commences. Our ability to make special bespoke compound products during this period will be severely restricted and we ask that you work with your sales representative and sales support contacts to top up your supplies on farm prior to the shutdown commencing.
Despite a substantial amount of planning, it is inevitable that there will be some unexpected run outs of feed on farm. Please be assured that we will try our upmost to ensure that a suitable products is supplied, but we ask for your patience and understanding with this. If you have any questions regarding this please contact your sales representative.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Matt Dugdale
Managing Director
