Another busy day at Gisburn Auction Mart's Dairy Show and Sale which we continue to proudly sponsor and support on the first Thursday of every month.
The dairy show was kindly judged by Paul Smith, of Croston.
Show Results
Pedigree New Calved Heifer
1st place was awarded to J & M Singleton & Son with 33lt heifer which later sold for £2180. (Pictured Below)
2nd place was awarded to M & J Bristol with 31lt heifer which later sold for £2780.
3rd place was awarded to J & M Singleton & Son with 34lt heifer which later sold for £2200.
New Calved Heifer
1st place was awarded to WR & VA Newsham with a 32lt heifer which later sold for £1800. (Pictured Below)
2nd place was awarded to RW & M Walker with a 31lt heifer which later sold for £1950.
3rd place was awarded to WR & VA Newsham with a 37lt heifer which later sold for £1800.
Pedigree New Calved Cow
1st place was awarded to HC & J Gardner & Son with a 34lt 2nd calver heifer which later sold for £1800. (Pictured Below)
2nd place was awarded to Smithills Open Farm LTD with a 50lt 2nd calver heifer which later sold for £2000.
3rd place was awarded to Belaw Farming with 42lt 2nd calver heifer which later sold for £1750.
Dugdale Nutrition Stand
Our Dugdale Nutrition stand is located to the rear of the main ring every first Thursday of the month during Dugdale Dairy Day.
