The Dairy Cattle show and sale saw a great turnout as usual with a fantastic mix of milk on offer! A big thank you to Robert Critchley for judging so decisively and swiftly.
Pedigree New Calved Heifer
J & JM & HJ Walmsley - Claynook Casper topped the best PEDIGREE NEW CALVED HEIFER class this month, showcasing a fantastic 33lt heifer which later sold for an impressive £2450 (pictured below).
2nd prize was awarded to GD Donkin - Bacon-Hill Hurricane with a 34lt heifer who later sold for £2550.
3rd prize was awarded to T Cowell - Stantons Adorable with a 29lt heifer who later sold for £2350.
New Calved Heifer
SJ Sugden topped the best NEW CALVED HEIFER class this month, showcasing a fantastic 38lt heifer which later sold for a fantastic £2520 (pictured below).
2nd prize was awarded to JH Hutchinson & Son Ltd with a 35lt heifer who later sold for £2200.
3rd prize was awarded to RA Metcalfe with a 27lt heifer who later sold for £2250.
New Calved Cow
JH Hutchinson & Son Ltd topped the best NEW CALVED COW class this month, showcasing a fantastic 2nd Calver 51lt heifer which later sold for a fantastic £2400 (pictured below).
2nd prize was awarded again to JH Hutchinson & Son Ltd with a 56lt 2nd calver heifer who later sold for £2300.
3rd prize was awarded again to JH Hutchinson & Son Ltd with a 40lt 2nd calver heifer who later sold for £2020.
