DN Driver organises Clitheroe truck run to raise money for the NHS...

A member of our Transport Team, DN Driver Craig Booth, has been working hard to organise a truck run to raise money for the NHS. Authorised by Lancashire Constabulary and teaming up with Ribble FM, the truck run will be held on Thursday April 23rd.

The route will begin directly across from Dugdale Nutrition at Clitheroe Auction, down the A59 to Whalley Road, along Eshton Terrace, Bawdlands, back to Whalley Road, then through the centre of Clitheroe and back up Chatburn Road, ending at Clitheroe Hospital. They will be met at Clitheroe Hospital by the Emergency Services and ELHT at 8pm for a clap for the NHS.

A maximum of 15 vehicles can take part and Craig has 5 signed up so far. Are you a HGV driver and wish to join in? Please contact Craig by phone on 07732768714 or by joining the Truck Run Facebook Page.

If the route passes your house, please be sure to give them a wave from your doorstep, making sure you follow all social distancing guidelines.

Donations can be made via the Just Giving page below. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/nhs-truckrun

PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC EVENT. DO NOT ATTEND THE HOSPITAL. SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED.
