If you are then an excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Blend Plant Operative to join a leading FMCG/Animal Feed manufacturing business. You will work a shift pattern of 4on 4off days (an average of 42 hours per shift).

Your responsibilities…
​
Reporting to the Blends Plant Supervisor/Production Manager, your duties will include but not limited to;
​

To ensure that the manufactured output requirements of Blend orders are met through effective management of the blend production facility using our DSL control system.

Ensure that you adhere to the companies Health and Safety policy including wearing the correct PPE while on site at all times.
-
Adhere to quality standards in order reach customer quality expectations as dictated by the Quality and Feed Safety system.

Weighments by hand of minerals and additives dictated by each individual formulation.

Oversee incoming Raw Material deliveries and recording.
-
Transferring Raw Materials from the blend shed into the bulk intakes using loading shovel.

Is an active member of the team and will willingly stand in to cover other jobs within the Production department.

Completion of daily tasks to include cleaning and organising of production areas.

Perform daily checks, adjustments and lubrication of plant and machines.
-
Operation of tote bagging plant.
-
To provide rolled materials through the rolling plant and maintain good floor stocks.
-
Loading of finished feed vehicles and completing documentation.

Person Specification…
​
Essential:
​​
-
Experience of production systems and procedures.
-
Loading shovel and FLT experience
-
Able to work on own initiative and demonstrate forward planning.
-
Problem solving skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to high health, safety and environmental standards.
-
Punctuality is key to the role being part of such a small team.
