The DN Team take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in aid of Field Nurse…

We would like to wish a huge well done to all members of the DN Team who took part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 8th June to raise money for Field Nurse. We are so proud to have each and every one of you on the DN Team!

Despite the miserable conditions, the team succeeded in climbing Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – a total of 25 miles / 7064ft – in a superb time of 11 hours 40 minutes.

  • Pen-y-Ghent is the smallest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks at 2,277 feet

  • Whernside is the highest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks at 2,415 feet

  • Ingleborough is the second-highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales at 2,372 feet

So far, the team have raised an impressive ยฃ590 for Field Nurse. The Field Nurse trust was set up in 2016 by a collective of local individuals with a common purpose of reducing the identified risks of physical & mental health of those living in rural areas.
