an excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Production Operative to join a leading Animal Feed manufacturing business. You will work a continental shift pattern based on 24/7 working, which is 4 x 12-hour shifts days/nights on, followed by 4 days off.
Job Description
Main Purpose of the Role
As a Transport Operative you are responsible for the transportation of goods between suppliers and customers. To comply with all rules and regulations involved with driver’s hours, working time directive rules and maintain the company’s high standards regarding customer service. You are not just an HGV driver but also the ‘face of the Business’. This role requires a good level of flexibility as you will be asked to cover holidays, sick leave, and evening deliveries, you will be undertaking bulk blowing, bulk tipping, delivery, and collection of bagged products using rigid and articulated vehicles. To undertake this role, you will not have a permanent vehicle however we try and keep people in the same vehicle for the 4 days on shift.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Undertake Daily Safety Inspections of the vehicle and report any defects following the correct procedure.

- Deliver finished product and raw material in the most cost effective way possible.

Job Description
Main Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all plant and facilities, including accurate use and updating of the CMMS system. Duties include carrying out reactive breakdown repairs and completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), with accountability for all follow‑up actions.
The role involves participation in root cause analysis (RCA) and project teams where required, and ongoing liaison with Supervisors and managers across both Maintenance and Operations teams.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Person Specification
- Must hold a LGV C+E License (class 1) or LGV C (class 2)

Job Description
Main Purpose
- As a night loader you are responsible for the loading of compound feeds, Meals and Blends onto the companies vehicles in the correct order for delivery ensuring you meet the customers requirements, ensuring no cross contamination occurs and correct weights are met both for customers requirements and the vehicles Gross weights, Carry out your duties in line with working time directive rules and maintain the company’s high standards in regard to customer service.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- To carry out loading of company bulk delivery vehicles to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Ensure all loading instructions are followed and the delivery paperwork is completed to enable the customer to be invoiced correctly.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor/Production Manager, your duties will include but not limited to;
- Continuous monitoring of the feed production process using DSL control system to achieve daily targets.
- Adhere to quality standards in order reach customer quality expectations as dictated by the Quality and Feed Safety system.
- Weighments by hand of minerals and additives dictated by each individual formulation.
- Setting of raw material routing for incoming deliveries and recording.
- Transferring Raw Materials from the blend shed into the bulk intakes using loading shovel.
- Is an active member of the team and will willingly stand in to cover other jobs within the mill.
- Completion of daily tasks to include cleaning and organising of production areas.
- Perform daily checks, adjustments and lubrication of machines.
- Operation of 25kg bagging plant to help with high demand periods.

- Previous experience in milling and agricultural feed.
