After 15 years at the helm of Dugdale Nutrition, Matthew Dugdale has decided to step down as Managing Director of the business. Matthew will take up the position of Sales Director and is responsible for the retail, agents and wholesale, along with the ongoing running of RBC Agri, our grass seed business.
We thank Matthew for leading the business through the biggest period of change in our 176-year history. The growth of the business from under 100,000 tonnes when he became Managing Director, to the 250,000 tonne multi-site business, now employing over 150 people, is a legacy Matthew can rightfully be very proud of.
The shareholders have offered the position of Managing Director to Matthew Tickle and are pleased that he has accepted, assuming the position with immediate effect. Matthew has been with Dugdale Nutrition for nine years following the acquisition of the B. Tickle and Sons Ltd in August 2017. Matthew has held the positions of Operations Director and Commercial Director in that time and has also succeeded Roger Dugdale as the raw material buyer.
We wish both Matthews the best of luck in their new roles and look forward to the exciting future that lies in front of Dugdale Nutrition. The business has a long and proud independent history and is ideally set up to navigate the challenges of the UK ruminant sector, making the most of our people and products to give performance to our partners.
