Another busy day at Gisburn Auction Mart’s Christmas Dairy Show and Sale which we continue to proudly sponsor and support on the first Thursday of every month.
The dairy show was kindly judged by Luke Lancaster from Horton in Craven.
The winner of the Gisburn Directors Silver Challenge cup and the Henry Bradley Memorial Trophy was R & M Cowgill with 27lt pedigree new calved heifer Hoole by Deleberge Pepper which later sold for £2620.

2nd place was awarded to R & M Cowgill with 35lt heifer Hoole by Delta Lunar which later sold for £2680.
3rd place was awarded to SJ Sugden with 28lt heifer Sweetrose by Deleberge Pepper which later sold for £2320.
1st place was awarded to GW Whitwell Ltd with a 30lt heifer which later sold for £2200.
2nd place was awarded to RW & M Walker with a 37lt heifer which later sold for £1880.
3rd place was awarded to TA & MA Crook with a 32lt heifer which later sold for £2080.

2nd place was awarded to G Fairburn with a 25lt heifer which later sold for £1980.
3rd place was awarded to G & PS Fleetwood with 27lt heifer by Churchroyd King Willie which later sold for £1880.
4th place was awarded to J JM HJ Walmsley with 26lt heifer which later sold for £1550.
1st place was awarded to Red House Farming with a 2nd calver 44lt cow which later sold for £2350.
2nd place was awarded to Red House Farming with a 2nd calver 39lt cow which later sold for £2050.
3rd place was awarded to J & M Sanderson with Sandcrest by Westenrade Altaspring a 2nd calver 45lt cow which later sold for £2420.
4th place was awarded to GB Moorhouse with Aireburn by Westcoast Redcarpet a 2nd calver 36lt cow which later sold for £2080.
1st place was awarded to RA Kirkham to sexed Sedona which later sold for £1750.
