If you are then an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician to join a leading FMCG/Animal Feed manufacturing business. Working 42.5 hours per week Mon - Fri.

Main Purpose...
​
-
Carryout sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure customer and company requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
-
Collation of sample results and distribution of these to stakeholders.
​
Key Tasks & Responsibilities…
​
-
To collect, prepare, sample and analyse raw materials and finished products using the techniques and equipment available according to defined QC plan.
-
To raise any concerns or irregularities regarding test results to Quality and Compliance Manager or Formulations Manager.
-
To ensure that all relevant quality procedures are followed and to support development of new procedures where required.
-
To identify any significant non-conformances in feed produced; and report to the Quality and Compliance Manager or Formulations Manager.

To return all sampled products to store and ensure these are kept in a safe and easily obtainable manner.

To record all test results on appropriate forms, excel sheets and databases
-
To ensure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained in good condition at an acceptable standard

To regularly update your line Manager with any information that can affect the smooth operation of the feed production department

Essential:
​

Motivated, pro-active, flexible & able to work independently and also part of a team.

Attention to detail and ability to follow through procedures and processes

Highly organised
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Good IT skills including MS Outlook & Excel

Desirable:
​
-
Some previous laboratory experience
-
Knowledge of UK agriculture
