If you are, then an excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Warehouse Operative to join a leading Food manufacturing business working 45 hrs per week, Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday (seasonal).

Dugdale Nutrition Ltd are a growing Ruminant Feed Manufacturer. We remain a family owned business who have delivered innovation in the ruminant sector for 170 years, with two production facilities running 24/7, based in Clitheroe and Speke.

Your responsibilities…
​

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader/Administration Manager, your duties will include but not limited to;

 

  • Provide support and cover through the warehouse operation as directed Warehouse Team Leader

  • Carry out and record daily safety inspections for operated mobile plant.

  • Maintaining Stock levels and adhering to stock rotation procedures

  • Ensure finished product is presented to the customer in a clean and tidy state.

  • General housekeeping duties within the warehouse facilities

  • Comply with and uphold all aspects of Company policies and health & Safety instructions, requirements and policies.

  • Work always within the framework and requirements of the Company’s obligations to the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS)

  • Serve Customers and help with loading and unloading vehicles

  • Occasional cover on the packing line

Person Specification…
​

Essential:

​​

  • Excellent time keeping

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to high health & safety standards

  • Self-motivation and ability to think fast on your feet

  • Flexibility

  • A positive attitude to work

​

Desirable:

​

  • Warehouse experience preferred but not essential

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • FLT experience preferred but not essential as onsite training can be provided
