Pre-Lambing Ewe Nutrition...

Updated: Jan 25

A guide on our range of sheep feed & buckets for keeping your pregnant ewes in good condition both pre and post-lambing.

A ewe has the greatest nutritional demand in late pregnancy and early lactation. It is essential that the ewe is fed to meet her requirements in this period to reduce the amount of problems at lambing time and for lamb performance.

However, it is also important not to over feed the ewe as this can also cause problems such as dystocia and prolapses.
