This month the DN employee recognition award has been presented to Matt Richardson.
Transport Manager, Dan Brown says, "Matt was nominated by his fellow colleagues for his general can do cheery outset, he often helps others around the office. Matt has also flourished within his new role in the Transport department, even when the going gets tough Matt always has a smile on his face and remains upbeat, Matt has a unique way to make customers and others who he meets feel at ease from conversations on the phone or in person.".
Matt Joined DN as a HGV driver before a unfortunate situation lead to him becoming involved in the transport office although Matt will openly admit he would rather be driving a Scania V8 and not the mouse of his computer he has taken to the office environment well and is going from strength to strength and growing with confidence each day. Matt started in the office as a Transport administrator but he is no planning the work that the trucks are doing which also includes been on call and having to think on his feet.
