Dugdale Nutrition continue to be proud to support and sponsor Gisburn Auction Mart's 'Dugdale Dairy Day' on the first Thursday of every month. These sales always attract an exceptional show of cattle, and this last Thursday was no exception! We would like to thank this week's judge Anthony Jackson for his time and careful consideration over the pre-sale show.
During the auction, one of our sales specialists Gemma Ford, held a raffle with the donations going to North West Air Ambulance. She raised an impressive £424 and Dugdale Nutrition are going to raise the total to £500. We would like to say a sincere thanks to all who donated.
Leading the pedigree heifer class show this week was Jennings Farmers with a 32lt heifer, realising £2920 (pictured below)
Today's best new calved heifer class winner was J & B Rowland, with a 32lt heifer, realising £2700 (pictured below)
Last class of the day; New Calved Cow class was taken by AH Price & Son with their 2nd Calver, giving 30lt, realising £3900 (pictured below)
