Our latest employee recognition award has been presented to DN Business Administration Apprentice, Bethany Duerden. Since Bethany joined the company she has been a breath of fresh air in the office and has such a happy and positive attitude to work.
Bethany's Line Manager, Maria Nimock says, "Bethany joined us on 5th November 2019 and this was her first job role from School. She fitted in very quickly with the DN team and her age was no barrier.
In March the Coronavirus pandemic struck and the whole work environment was forced to change.
As Bethany’s line manager I was segregated to our Speke site, but this did not stop her and she volunteered to come into work on what should have been her college days to help out in the office. She quickly found areas of the job that could be improved, developing a new COVID safe booking in system for raw materials that reduced the need for paper being passed between people (this system has now been installed at Speke site as well). Bethany has a been a shining star through a dark period."
