We are delighted to report that the Clitheroe Truck Run for the NHS, organised by our very own DN Driver Craig Booth, raised an astonishing £4,040.
The event took place on Thursday April 23rd, with the convoy departing from Clitheroe Auction at 6.40pm, lead by several vehicles from the DN Fleet. The route took them along the A59, into Whalley, through Barrow, along Whalley Road into Clitheroe, along Eshton Terrace & Bawdlands, before driving through the centre of Clitheroe and up Chatburn Road to Clitheroe Community Hospital. They were then joined at the Hospital by Ribble FM and the Emergency Services for a 'clap for the NHS.'

The Truck Run received huge support from Ribble Valley residents who all shared their joy on local Facebook Page, 'Clitheroe Gossip.' We were delighted to read so many wonderful comments and posts supporting Craig's fundraising efforts. Delighted children and adults watched the Truck Run from their doorsteps, adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Craig is already busy planning his next event, a truck show, which will take place next year once we are out of lockdown and through these difficult times. We are so proud to have Craig as part of the DN Team; his hard work, thoughtfulness and efforts to boost moral in the local community and to raise valuable funds for the NHS really is testament to him.
