Speaker Bio - Adam Geiger PhD PAS
Adam Geiger was raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin in the U.S.A. He received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Dairy Science. Upon graduation, he completed a M.S. degree at Mississippi State University in Ruminant Nutrition. Adam then received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in Lactation Physiology. His dissertation is a series of work dedicated to understanding the relationship between nutrition and the mammary gland and understanding how both interact with various hormonal axis to improve milk production. Adam started with Zinpro as a Research Nutritionist in dairy and colostrum in 2017. Adam has been an invited speaker and/or conducted technical service visits in over 40 states and 50 countries. Adam focuses heavily on lameness, nutrition, calf and heifer management, colostrum management, transition cow management, and mammary function/health. Adam currently resides in Madison, Georgia, U.S.A. with his wife, Abby, and their 2 children, Abram (6 years) and Adelyn (3 years).
