If you are, then an excellent opportunity has arisen for a creative and personable Marketing & Communications Assistant to join a leading FMCG/Food manufacturing business working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Dugdale Nutrition Ltd are a growing FMCG/Food Manufacturer. We remain a family owned business who have delivered innovation in the ruminant sector for 170 years. With two production facilities running 24/7, based in Clitheroe and Speke.

Your responsibilities…
​

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Director, your duties will include but are not limited to;

​

  • Day to day management of the company websites

    • DN

    • Home n’ Dry

    • WuffitMix (e-commerce)

  • Day to day management of the company social media channels

    • Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Collecting marketing data

  • Compiling reports on the effectiveness of campaigns

  • Liaising with printers

  • Creating and Scheduling Advertising Campaigns

    • Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director to create targeted and seasonal advertising campaigns both online and print

  • Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site

  • Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the DN brand

  • Writing and editing press releases

  • Attending industry events, conferences and trade shows

  • Management of the DN Marketing Calendar

    • Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director to ensure that the marketing calendar is kept updated and shared with the Retail Sales Manager and Retail Sales Team

  • Produce regular performance reports based on the websites and social channels

  • New Product Launches (NPL) and Sales Campaigns (SC)

    • Working with Marketing & Communications Director, Sales Director, and the Retail Sales Team on NPL / SC

    • Ensuring the Retail Sales Team have the required product literature and promotional material for NPL / SC

  • DN Events

    • Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director to assist with the planning and attending of DN Events, Zoom Farmer Meetings, Trade Shows, Livestock Auctions, Open Days, Farm Walks etc.

  • Ordering of Promotional Literature / Materials

    • Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director, Retail Sales Team, and our suppliers

Person Specification…
​

Essential:

​

  • Presentable

  • Highly motivated

  • Good I.T. skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential

  • Able to work alone and as part of a team

  • Creativity and ability to ‘think outside of the box’

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • Strong task and time management skills

  • Basic knowledge of the marketing mix

  • Willingness to learn

 

Desirable:

​

  • Farming and agricultural knowledge

  • Full UK driving license

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop, preferred but not essential
