If you are, then an excellent opportunity has arisen for a creative and personable Marketing & Communications Assistant to join a leading FMCG/Food manufacturing business working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities…
​
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Director, your duties will include but are not limited to;
​

Day to day management of the company websites
-
DN
-
Home n’ Dry
-
WuffitMix (e-commerce)
-
-
Day to day management of the company social media channels
-
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
-
-
Collecting marketing data
-
Compiling reports on the effectiveness of campaigns
-
Liaising with printers
-
Creating and Scheduling Advertising Campaigns
-
Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director to create targeted and seasonal advertising campaigns both online and print
-

Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site
-
Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the DN brand
-
Writing and editing press releases
-
Attending industry events, conferences and trade shows
-
Management of the DN Marketing Calendar
-
Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director to ensure that the marketing calendar is kept updated and shared with the Retail Sales Manager and Retail Sales Team

Produce regular performance reports based on the websites and social channels
-
New Product Launches (NPL) and Sales Campaigns (SC)
-
Working with Marketing & Communications Director, Sales Director, and the Retail Sales Team on NPL / SC
-
Ensuring the Retail Sales Team have the required product literature and promotional material for NPL / SC

DN Events
-
Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director to assist with the planning and attending of DN Events, Zoom Farmer Meetings, Trade Shows, Livestock Auctions, Open Days, Farm Walks etc.

Ordering of Promotional Literature / Materials

Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Director, Retail Sales Team, and our suppliers

Essential:

Presentable

Highly motivated

Good I.T. skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential

Able to work alone and as part of a team

Creativity and ability to ‘think outside of the box’

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good organisational skills

Strong task and time management skills

Basic knowledge of the marketing mix

Willingness to learn
Desirable:

Farming and agricultural knowledge

Full UK driving license

Knowledge of Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop, preferred but not essential
