Maintenance Work At Bellman Mill

Last week saw Bellman Mill stop production for 36 hours to allow the replacement of the finished product sieves on both press lines. Replacing the well-worn sieves with two new Mogensen vibrating screens will improve the quality of compound output by removing more fines from the product before storage.

Our sister plant in Speke allowed us good continuity of supply and the work was completed on schedule by ISF of York. The downtime allowed the Dugdale Nutrition staff an opportunity to inspect and maintain other areas of the plant in readiness for what is shaping up for another record Winter of feed manufacture for Dugdale Nutrition.
