If you are, then an excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Transport Operative to join a leading FMCG/Food manufacturing business working a continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off an average of 42 hours per week. This role requires a good level of flexibility as you will be asked to cover holidays, sick leave and evening deliveries. You will be undertaking bulk blowing, bulk tipping, delivery and collection of bagged products using rigid and articulated vehicles. To undertake this role, you will not have a permanent vehicle however we try and keep people in the same vehicle for the 4 days on shift.

Main Purpose…

As a Transport Operative you are responsible for the transportation of goods between suppliers and customers. To comply with all rules and regulations involved with driver’s hours, working time directive rules and maintain the company’s high standards in regard to customer service. You are not just a HGV drivers but also the ‘face of the business’​
