Dugdale Nutrition Ltd are a modern family business, leading the UK’s ruminant sector by delivering outstanding products, people, partnerships and performance. We currently have two production facilities based in Speke and Clitheroe that run 24/7.

Main Purpose…
​
As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.
Your responsibilities…​
​
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor / Assistant & Site Manager Production Manager, your duties will include but not limited to;
​

Perform daily stocktakes of all bagged product and report to relevant personnel.
-
Carry out daily checks on all mobile equipment and report defects.
-
Achieve proficiency on all three of our production lines replacing consumables. To include cleaning and minor maintenance duties.

Receive deliveries of goods and supplies, reference delivered quantities against driver’s paperwork.

Maintaining Stock levels and adhering to stock rotation procedures.
-
Ensuring Finished Product is presented in a clean and tidy state prior to loading.

Record batch numbers on relevant paperwork to provide traceability.

Identifying any damaged goods and disposing of them following procedures in the Quality Manual.

General housekeeping duties within all areas of the blend shed Facilities.

Comply with and uphold all aspects of the Company’s health & Safety instructions, requirements and policies.
-
Work at all times within the framework and requirements of the Company’s obligations to the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS).

Person Specification…​
​
-
Warehouse experience including forklift license (Essential).
-
Good literacy and numeracy skills
-
Experience using Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
-
Attention to detail
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment to high health & safety standards.
-
Excellent timekeeping
-
Flexibility during our seasonal production demands
-
Self-motivation and ability to think fast on your feet
-
Experience with using a Telehandler (Desirable)
