Dugdale Nutrition Ltd is a modern family business, leading the UK’s ruminant sector by delivering outstanding products, people, partnerships and performance. We currently have two production facilities based in Clitheroe and Speke that run 24/7.

Main Purpose…
​
Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure we maintain our standards across our sites, in accordance with a schedule. Our Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and hygienic space for both employees and visitors.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities…
​
Cleaning and Sanitising
-
Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchen areas and common spaces.
-
Ensure surfaces are free from dirt, debris, and stains.
-
Follow a cleaning schedule which will be provided.
-
Maintain records.

Waste Management
-
Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with Company policies.
-
Replace bin liners and ensure proper disposal of waste.
​
Stock Replenishment
-
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
-
Inform Reception of low stock levels and assist in stock management.
​
Reporting
-
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
-
Communicate any health and safety concerns to the supervisor.
​
Health and Safety
-
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
-
Use appropriate cleaning methods and materials to prevent damage to surfaces and equipment.
-
Use cleaning solutions in the appropriate way being aware of the COSHH requirements.
-
Wear suitable PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.

Collaboration
-
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient cleaning routine.
-
Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
​
Time Management
-
Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure all cleaning duties are completed in a timely manner.
​
Training
-
Suitable training will be provided.
​
General
-
Other ad hoc reconciliation works as required.
-
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by Senior Management.

Person Specifications/Qualifications
-
Previous experience in a cleaning role.
-
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
-
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
-
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
-
Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations.
